client:
How Can I Be Flyer.com
Role: Brand Identity

Case Study:
I started out my "professional" design career making flyers for club nights and bars. One of the biggest issues I found, out of many, was that what clients were willing to pay for my work easily constituted some form of child labor.

Because I knew I had a better product than my competitors in the marketplace I decided to create a viral website called www.HowCanIBeFlyer.com with the purpose of making fun of the fact that the prices clients paid was so low but the work they received from other designers warranted that cost, but not me.

I was quite obnoxious with my campaign, and created multiple brand marks to push my product. In the end I saw significantly increased revenue as my prices went up and clients were surprisingly willing to pay for my better quality of work - however that may have been perceived.
